Beverly Nembhard serves as senior program coordinator for the Community Cancer Screening Program of Horizons Community Solutions, working with local federally-qualified Community Health Centers and other healthcare partners to coordinate cancer screening services for uninsured and underinsured residents of South Georgia. Beverly has worked in community services for more than 15 years. Before joining Horizons Community Solutions in 2010, she was a resource coordinator for the Georgia Pre-Kindergarten Program and a childcare center director at Children’s Friend Learning Center. She also served as a caseworker senior and family support coordinator with Worth County Department of Family and Children Services, a counselor and program assistant with Worth County Family Connection, and a group facilitator and counselor for Open Arms/The Bridge. Beverly is a native of Albany, and she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Albany State University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Health Policy from American Public University.
